ROBERT L. SMITHHART, 81, of Fort Wayne, died on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born May 17, 1931, in Terre Haute, he was a son of Joseph and Nellie Smithhart. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force from to 1948 to 1953. He married Madaline Chapman on Feb. 14, 2001, in Lake Tahoe, Nev.; she survives in Fort Wayne. He was the sales manager at WOWO radio in Fort Wayne and then WFFT Channel 55 in Fort Wayne for over 25 years. Survivors include his wife, Madaline Smithhart of Fort Wayne; three grandsons, David Smithhart, Christopher Smithhart and Jay Smithhart; one sister, Wanda Cady of Michiganl one half-sister, Stephanie Southerland of Indiana; 40 stepchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren. Dorothy J. Moore, 72, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at Lutheran Hospital.
Born May 19, 1940 in Fort Wayne, she was a homemaker. She was an active member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She loved auctioning and crafts.
Surviving are her husband, James W. Moore, of Fort Wayne; daughters, Denise R. Caldwell and Jolene (Jerry) Rider, both of Fort Wayne; and grandchildren, Brandon Caldwell, Jasmine Caldwell, Samual Buchs and Kaytlon Buchs. Funeral Service is 10:30 am Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 917 W. Jefferson Blvd. with calling one hour prior at the church.

James W. Pembleton, 77, passed away Monday August 20, 2012.
Jim was a constant at our Monday auctions. He would arrive early and first thing get his number and then see what was on the menu for lunch. Somehow Monday's won't be the same without his tool buying from the front row.

TRUE E. MYERS
TRUE E. MYERS, 66, of Monroe, Ind., went to meet the Lord on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at the VA Hospital in Fort Wayne, after a long illness. Born April 27, 1946, in Decatur, he was the son of the late Melvin D. and Anna A. (Liechty). On April 10, 1966 he married Barbara (Brubaker). He served his country in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a Machinist and Cabinet Builder, and was employed by Textron and Fleetwood. He was a member of the Monroe United Methodist Church, a former member of the Monroe Fire Department Rescue Squad, and a volunteer EMT. He served on various boards at church and was a Cub Scout leader. He enjoyed buying and selling tools through his business, True's Stuff, during his retirement years. He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Myers of Monroe; one son, Rev. David P. (Julie) Myers of Wabash, Ind.; one daughter, Petula S. Myers of Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina (International worker C and MA); twin brother, Thomas E. (Marjorie) Myers of New Haven; sister, Hope (Clarence) Hudson of Berne, Ind.; three grandchildren, Lilly, James and Jacob Myers; and sister-in-law, Vickie (Scotty) Smutts of Fort Wayne. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012 at Monroe United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Eric Simpson will be officiating. Visitation also from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Haggard Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home. RUSSELL E. PARKER
In Memory of
Russell E. Parker, 68, of Fort Wayne, passed away March 27, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital. Born June 20, 1943 he spent his first 13 years near Zanesville, Indiana. Russ then moved to the Wallen area in 1954 and graduated from North Side High School in 1962. Russ served in the Vietnam conflict with the Navy from 1963 to 1966. He spent several years as an aide at the Allen Count y Home where he met Nancy and spent a short time working at Fort Wayne State School and GE before spending 40 years at Zollner Corp. Russ and Nancy would have celebrated their 46th anniversary on April 1st. In 2000 he was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia from Agent Orange. The great loves of his life were his grandchildren, son, daughter and in-laws. He was a former foster father, scout leader, and a 4H leader. He was also a member of the Fort Wayne Gardeners of America, ARBA and American Legion. He spent the last few years of his life helping with 4H animals, attending auctions and selling produce at SS Market and W Main. Recently he spent most of his time driving his new Amish friends. He attended the Church House lead by Paul Schmucker in Grabill. He loved to sing and was known as the "church cryer" due to his emotions. His main desire in life was to spread the gospel of the Lord Jesus to as many as possible so they can join him in Heaven someday. Russ is survived by his loving wife Nancy (Miller) Parker, son, Shawn (Dawn) Parker of Fort Wayne; daughter, Beth (Chad) Wood of Woodburn; grandchildren, Karlee and Korbin of Fort Wayne and Cody and Christian (CJ) of Woodburn; sisters, Gwen (Sue) Ellenwood of Fort Wayne and Belma (Mike) Mcinteer of Columbia City; in-laws, Tomme Snyder and Dan and Mary Elias; aunts, Mariann Laing and Janet Marden; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral is 11am Saturday, March 31, 2012 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling one hour prior. PEGGY L. HAMILTON, 74, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 at Parkview North Hospital. She was born June 23, 1937 in Laconia, Tenn. Surviving are her husband, William; daughter, Lisa Hamilton of Huntington; sons, Gregory (Sherry) Hamilton of Fort Wayne and Stephen Hamilton of St. Louis, Mo.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters, Joyce Kugler of Swan, Ind, and Carolyn Dusenoschon of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by by a son, Dennis Hamilton, who died in 1987; parents, Lavon and Alma Baker; sister, Bonnie Bishop; brothers, Wayne and J.C Baker. Walter Wiegmann, 85 years old of Decatur, Indiana, entered into eternal life at 1:50 p.m. on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at his residence.
Walter was born on Tuesday, April 27, 1926 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana the son of the late Henry Wiegmann and the late Minnie (Oetting) Wiegmann.
Walter was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church - Preble in rural Decatur, Indiana; he was a graduate of New Haven High School Class of 1944; and he was a graduate of Reppert Auction School in 1945.
Walter was a prominent auctioneer and real estate broker in the Ft. Wayne, Indiana area for 60 years. He began the Wiegmann Auctioneers firm in 1945.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Barbara (Morning)Wiegmann of Decatur, Indiana; daughter, Connie Jeffrey of Decatur, Indiana; son, Ron (Debra) Wiegmann of Decatur, Indiana; daughter, Bonnie (Steve) Sipe of New Haven, Indiana; sister, Gloria Werling of New Haven, Indiana; sister, Ruth Peters of Decatur, Indiana; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Preceding Walter in death were his parents and one son-in-law, Gary Jeffrey.
A 9:30 a.m. Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service in the St. Paul Lutheran Church - Preble with Rev. Dr. Daniel J. Brege officiating. Entombment will follow in the Concordia Gardens Cemetery in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2011 and from 2-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2011 and from 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana.
