Out of state sheep or goats must have a scrapie tag, health papers, and if older than 6 months and in tact, a brucellosis test.

If you do not have the proper paper work, they must be sold for SLAUGHTER ONLY! If you are from a brucellosis free herd, please provide that paperwork.

WE AUCTION GOATS EVERY SATURDAY AT 1PM AND ONCE A MONTH WE HAVE A SPECIAL GOAT AUCTION INVITING MORE GOATS THAN THE NORMAL AUCTION

PLANNING THE 2013 GOAT AUCTIONS IS HAIR RAISING...lol! 

All goats and sheep are required to be identified by FEDERAL regulations. Each goat or sheep must have a scrapie tag. If they are not identified in this manner, they can not be sold, transported, or sold at auction.

Michigan law also requires all sheep and goats be individually identified to their flock of origin. This is the flock in which an animal most recently resided, in which it was born, gave birth or was used for breeding purposes. There is NO provision for tagging animals that cannot be identified to their flock of origin.

We can offer scrapie tags at the cost of $5.00 each IF your animal has lost one and you do not have your own to put in. We will require you to sign a paper that the animal came from your farm and you ARE THE owner.
